Our restaurant is located right in the vibrant Kreuzberg Kiez in Oranienstraße.

We offer a wide selection of homemade italian food and delicacies from the culinary world of oriental and german cuisine.

With passion and joy Mahmoud Seoud leads the Restaurant Stiege for over 40 years and made it to become an institution in the neighborhood.

Before the war, a chocolate shop operated in the Stiege which housed its own chocolate factory in the basement.

Since the early 1950s the Stiege is used as a restaurant and local neighborhood pub.

The originally preserved and cozy atmosphere attracted already in the 1970s, numerous celebrities, and went for several film and television productions as popular set (Liebling Kreuzberg). Regularly Manfred Krug and Didi Hallervorden stopped by.
